The Canyon Adventure is an experience that everyone should have at least once in their life. Just imagine yourself descending on a canyon immersed in the forest, with the background sounds of a waterfall, and where every step you take will be a moment to remember forever.
First, we will pick you up at your hotel in La Fortuna to take you to the heart of the mountain, where we will begin our adventure. Closed shoes are mandatory, as we will walk in the forest for about 20 minutes. After placing the equipment, well-experienced guides will give you an explanation of the techniques used to descend into the canyons.
There are a total of 3 natural waterfalls that we will face going down by ropes. You will face your fears by overcoming these waterfalls that measure 25m (82ft), 35m (115 ft) and 50m (165ft). During the tour you can enjoy some pools and a variety of flora and fauna. Also, hydration will be important, that is why we will keep water or a beer, and fruits. The physical demand is high, but it will be rewarded when we get back to La Fortuna and in the restaurant, we receive a buffet with a variety of dishes, coffee, and chocolate. Next, we will take you to the organic farm where most of the ingredients used in the buffet preparation have come out; you can also learn about growing organic products.
Finally, we will take you back to your hotel. You will be very satisfied to have been part of a true adventure in the Costa Rican forest.
