Arenal Tubing in La Fortuna, La Fortuna Costa Rica

Starting with a hike for around 15 minutes between secondary forest trails you'll get to Río Arenal (Arenal River). Right after an instructive talk from the guides the adventure of "Tubing" begins.

While 1.3 miles on crystal water, you will enjoy natural landscapes surrounded by beautiful wildlife, such as monkeys and birds. They are typical of this area located in the Arenal Volcano base. Adrenaline is felt as we go through this river and combining adventure with security provided by professional guides.

At the end of the tour, you will go to a changing room to get out of your wet clothes for dry. Finally, we will take you back to the hotel you were picked you up.

The tubing was pretty epic, different than in the states. The current got more advanced as we went, but that made it fun. We were in the water two hours or less so that was the only disappointment. I am used to tubing three hours or so. If would of been much more fun if it lasted longer. The tour guide, Julio, was an awesome tour guide.

Important notes

- The minimum age allowed for doing the Tour is 10 years old.
- Tour duration depends on the river's flow (30 more minutes or 30 minutes less).
- The pick-up time at your hotel will be indicated in the voucher. It depends on the hotel's location.
- Please add $25 per person if the pick-up is at Observatory Lodge, Arenal Lodge, The Springs Resort or Linda Vista hotel.
- A minimum of 2 passengers is required for the tour to run.
- Price per person (USD).
- All taxes are already included in the price, eliminating any unexpected additional costs.
- Children rate: between 10-12 years old.
