Arenal Volcano Horseback Riding Tour, La Fortuna Costa Rica

After picking you up at your hotel in La Fortuna, the trip will begin from the stables of Los Lagos resort. Then, a local guide will instruct you the right way for you to ride a horse; we are going to ride approximately 5 miles into a property of 600 hectares, through primary and secondary forest. You will have the possibility to observe toucans, monkeys, peacocks, among others.

The main attraction of this Tour is to ride your horse into the forest with great views. There is a volcano viewpoint where we are going to stop to take a brief of fresh air, and, to see the Arenal Volcano.

Finally, we will get to “Los Lirios Lake”. From this point, we will get back to the start point.

The total riding time is of almost 2.5 hours approximately.

What an amazing tour. It was pouring rain but that made it much better in my opinion. 2 to 3 hours riding a horse through the jungle, some paths easy some were definitely rugged. If you like riding, this will be an unforgettable experience. The land near the volcano is beautiful and the trail pretty much allows you to have the forest just to you and your group. We really enjoyed our ride up to the Arenal volcano view point even though the top of the volcano stayed in the clouds. The horses were well cared for and well trained and our guide was excellent. It was a lovely day to spend the morning.

- The pick-up time at your hotel will be indicated in the voucher. It depends on the hotel's location.
