The guide gave an excellent explanation of how the volcano was formed and the after effects of the 1968 eruption. Very interesting. I appreciated his familiarity with plants and animals around the area and his passion for environmental health.

Baldi Hot Springs was not what I ex pected, but to be honest, I didn't read up ahead of time. It is an attraction for sure. Various pools at different elevations and water temperatures. I would not have gone had it not been included in this trip.... (read more)

This was a very good, and well organized tour. Our guide lady (Elena) was very good and considerate of the people who struggled on the hills a bit. The bottle of water, and the cold face cloth were such nice touches. After the Volcano Tour we really enjoyed the Hot Springs. It’s a bit like a theme park, but we had a great time. Great Family Tour!

This tour was perfect for our family! Our children, ages 5 & 7, enjoyed the day very much! Our tour guide and driver were very welcoming and informative. The trail was a bit of a workout, but the time in the hot springs definitely balanced it out. The meal provided was delicious and the entire tour from start to end was fantastic! Highly recommended for those visiting the area!

Volcano guide was wonderful, a little treacherous the last climb up as you are stepping over large large lava rocks, but the view of Lake Arsenal was well worth it. Baldi hot springs was very relaxing, I just didn’t like that they charged you extra for a locker after paying so much for a tour. the tour company was great and picked us up when we wanted to end the day

My wife and I arrived to our hotel in La Fortuna at noon and had arranged by fortunawelcome.com this hike. It was the perfect thing we had booked to enjoy the short time we owned. We went hiking very close to the volcano for 2 hours, then we relaxed in the hot Springs. Dinner was delicious too.
